"...into a body like mine!"
The nurse smiled from ear-to-ear. She had been a nurse for a few years and she had help dozens of people through the transformation process. Some were even weirder than her. But, she had never assisted someone who would be punished in a way so similar to herself.
Jon, however, was very put-off by the prospect. The nurse's unusual body was strange in away the Jon did not like. The way her arms moved, being so close to her center, was uncomfortable to watch. Jon was not blind to the potential benefits having a third arm could provide. But, his opinion did not matter. His punishment was already chosen and his fate was sealed.
The nurse, seeing that Jon was distressed, tried to comfort the young man. She wrapped her misplaced, right arm around his slumping shoulder. "It's going to be alright. I'll see to it personally that your rehabilitation is as comfortable as it can be."
Jon was quiet as the let the reality of his situation set in. Dozens of questions filled his mind. He took a moment to word his question. "Is there anything else about me that is going to change?"
"Well, first we are going to change you into the body of a girl. Now, don't get upset. This is a part of many punishments. You will not be alone."
Jon was at a loss for words. He felt totally helpless. He could use the stone and wish it away. But, he left it at home in a place where he hoped no one would find it. Besides, using the stone would be like cheating. He did wish this fate upon himself. So many people before him had been in similar situations but they had no way to escape their fate. It would be unfair to them, the innocent lives effected by his wish, if he just ran away.
The next few hour passed by in a blur. The odd, three-armed nurse kept saying her platitudes and the specifics about his punishment. He was escorted to another part of the Transformation Wing where he would be inject with nanites. Jon was put under anesthesia and small part of him wished he would never wake up.
