"You!" came the sound of Santa's roaring voice. Jon turned and saw him at the far end of the hall. "You're not going to get away with this!"
Quickly, Jon made another wish. "I wish all the humans in this place would be transported back to their homes, wherever in the world they might be." Because of the stone's limited range, that wish wouldn't normally be granted. But with all the Christmas magic imbuing this place, it was able to. The thing was, though, it used up over half the Christmas magic to grant the wish, leaving less than what was required for Santa Claus to use to give presents to the children of the world.
Jon had saved many people's lives, including his own, but he ruined Christmas for millions of kids across the globe.
