Jon took a deep breath and opened the front door, then walked outside to see ... just the normal neighborhood. He really expected to see everything looking gothic, but no. Everything seemed ... normal.
That was until he saw a little girl playing in her front yard a few houses down. She was dressed in all black and had a definite Goth look about her, despite only being about six years old. In her hands was something that looked like a witch doll. Jon then saw the girl's mother come out of the house and he thought that she'd be gothic too, but she wasn't.
After a little more looking around the neighborhood, Jon had come to the conclusion that all little kids (around 11 or 12 years old and younger) were basically Goths. Everyone else wasn't. Even a girl he knew from school who he knew for a fact was a Goth. Now, she looked like a normal teenage girl, not gothic in the slightest. Maybe no one older than a child was a Goth because being gothic was now considered "childish"? With a Santa who was a Goth, that made a lot of sense. But he'd rather have the original Santa back, or rather the idea of the original Santa. He still didn't believe that Santa actually existed, before all this happened.
"Hey, Santa!" he heard Mikey's voice yell. Well, now he knew where to find Santa, and Mikey. He turned in that direction, then started to sprint.
