"I just wish that you never dumped me for Alex," Jon said, sighing. "Then maybe ..." The stone in Jon's hand glowed. And Erin disappeared.
"Erin?" Jon called out.
Then someone who looked like Erin walked in from the hall. "Yeah, Jon? What?"
Jon stood up. "Erin? What happened to you?" Her red curly hair had become blonde and her breasts were way bigger.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"Your body. It's ..."
"Jon, stop talking about my body, okay? It was an accident."
Accident? Jon thought. Then he got it. He had wished that he never got dumped. That meant that Erin was still his girlfriend. Because of that, Jon and Karyn had never become best friends and Jon had shown the stone to Erin instead. And Erin made the same dumb wish that Karyn had made.
"Right. I got it. I won't mention it again."
She smiled. "Yeah right. Now can I please go to the bathroom?"
"Huh? Oh yeah. Sure."
Jon looked around at all of his pictures. They used to be of him and Karyn. But now they were of him and Erin. He smiled. He never wanted to lose Karyn as a friend, but having Erin as his girlfriend meant much more to him.
