The next morning, Jon woke up. It was a whole new day to try out his newest toy: the wishing stone.
He quickly got dressed and ready for school, excited at what the day might bring. When he was finished, he grabbed for the stone, meaning to make his first wish for the day. But what he saw in its place was a green emerald-looking stone that looked nothing like the stone he got from his grandfather. A small note next to it read "Grell Stone - Get Angry and Make a Wish".
"What the hell?" Jon said aloud. What happened to the wishing stone? He grabbed the green gemstone, which was apparently called a Grell Stone, and looked at it. "What is this thing and where did it come from? And what's this about getting angry to make a wish? I want my stone back!"
Squeezing the stone, Jon then made a wish, which would come true, since he was indeed angry right now. But unlike the regular stone, this one would sometimes create unpredictable results. But like the stone he got from his grandfather, it tended to rewrite history to fit whatever was wished for. And since you could only make a wish when you were angry, a lot of the time, the wishes granted were negative ones.
"I wish ..." Jon began, angry that someone had taken his stone away and given him this replacement.
