The formally knocked down Totem was now standing upright once again.
It's face had gone from a plain, expressionless face to a now angry, scrunched up one.
Richard was the only one that didn't notice and took a couple of steps towards it before Ned called out
"--Richard!" Ned nervously spoke from the corner of the room
"What?"
"I-... I think that it's alive, Richard..."
"Just because it's face turned angry, it doesn't mean it's alive Ned." Lance spoke, a hint of disdain directed towards the totem in her voice
"No--." "I saw it move." "It picked itself up from the floor as if it was human." Ned said, fear in his eyes

They all stared intently at the totem as it sat there motionlessly
Lance finally spoke out "Even if it is alive..." She took a few steps towards the totem and started reaching down for yet another wish

The totems eyes looked directly into hers, as it's head shortly followed, causing Lance to jump.
"...." "Sorry about the ki--"
BOOM

A loud, blueish green, focused explosion caused Lance to fly across the room, just the same way the totem had earlier.
She bounced off the wall and landed on the floor gasping for air; the wind knocked out of her.
"Ugh.." "..." gasp "..." gasp
The others wanted to help, but were too afraid of the potential consequences.

The totem stood up, unhindered by it's former robotic motions, and walked towards Lance on the ground.
Lance looked up at the giant, angry golden man with intense fear as it reached down towards her.
She had finally reclaimed her breath back as it's solid golden hands wrapped around her neck and brought her into the air.
Ned and Richard didn't dare move even a single muscle as they watched this golden creature strangle their friend.
As she writhed her body about, her feet not even close to the floor, she looked at the golden man as the anger slowly drained from it's face.
As it's face reached a sense of serenity, it loosened the grip on her neck.
As she fell to the floor, once again gasping for air, the totem reclaimed it's former seated position next to her.

It was at this point that Richard thought it safe to move again, as he made his way around the totem, keeping his distance from it as much as possible.
"Are you okay Lance?" Richard asked Lance as she sat up feeling the shifting of her chest she'd almost forgot about after the preceding event
"Well I'm still a woman. So no." Lance snarked

"PUNISHMENT" The totem spoke

Lance suddenly vanished without a trace.
