Steve decided to tell Jon. His behavior was clearly altered, but he still ultimately seemed to be in his right mind. He also mentioned how Athena acting, and how she seemed unwilling to help them reverse it.
"Well that's bothersome," Jon said, shaking his head to let his new mane of hair hang more naturally.
"Yes, but at least she had the courtesy to set us on the right path," Steve remarked. "Have you seen Karyn or Biff?"
"No, why?"
"Because those two were supposed to be the ones looking for you. If I located you even after consulting with Athena, they must have been distracted somewhere."
"Are you sure it was a good idea to put those two together? Karyn never really liked Biff. Always thought he was a bully."
"I'm actually worried about the less mundane problem right now. As Athena showed, those of us with the rings seem to have strange effects on those without the rings that hang around us for extended periods. I hope Biff was not similarly effected and began reacting to Karyn."
"Reacting how? Like worshiping her? Karyn would get a kick out of that."
"I certainly hope not. Last thing we need is someone with a ring who actually believed that they were the god associated with it," Steve said. "Come one, let us go seek the two of them out."
