Steve's eyes lit up upon hearing what Athena just told him. "That's awesome, so what all did you find?" he asks.
She pulls out a book she had been carrying that read "Greek Mythology." "When Jon showed me his ring, I knew I had seen that symbol before and went and looked it up." she says as she opens the book and turns it to the page she had bookmarked. "His symbol was that of Aphrodite, the goddess of love." she says.
Steve is intrigued by this discovery. "So what exactly does that mean?" he asks.
Athena then starts looking at his ring and flipping through the book. "I'm not sure. Has Jon been acting weird at all?" she asks.
Steve starts thinking about how Jon had always been staring at some of the guys. "Well he has taken to staring longingly at some of the other guys." he mentions.
This was just the clue that Athena needed. "That's it. Somehow these rings are turning you into greek gods and goddesses." she says.
This causes Steve to go over the edge. "What? You mean we're becoming some sort of mythical figures?" he asks as he feels a tightening in his throat with his vocal chords tightening causing his voice to rise up in pitch.
Athena nods her head. "Yep and from the symbol on your ring, it would appear that you're becoming the goddess I've taken my own name after, Athena." she reveals.
