Jon sat down for English class, eager to find someone to commune with. Unfortunately he couldn't catch anyone's attention before class began. The class was reading King Leer, which Jon always found a bit boring. The intrigue was nice, but it was a bit too dark for his tastes. Now Romeo and Juliet, that was a good Shakespearean play. The characters were a little one dimensional, sure, and the plot a bit simple as well, but the raw passion of young love just struck Jon as so delicious.
Jon paused, frowning. He didn't recall loving Romeo and Juliet before today. In fact, he very much remembered disliking it much as King Leer before now. Strange how quickly tastes could change.
Then a piece of paper fell onto his desk. He glanced up, and saw a classmate, Danny, pointing for him to pass it down. He turned in the direction he was supposed to pass it, and saw another classmate, Rachel. Jon remember hearing a rumor that the two of them shared a mutual crush, and had been circling each other for awhile.
His curiosity piqued, he unfolded the note and read it over. Sure enough, it seemed Danny was trying to ask Rachel out. Not very well, however, Jon noticed. Jon pulled out a pen and paper, deciding he would rework Danny's attempts to woo his lady love, with a few improvements. Jon brushed aside his shoulder length hair, which had thankfully stopped growing for now. However, as he began to pen the revised note, Jon's hair continued to develop traces of red, as well as a few traces of blonde.
