"She spent the night with Jon," Edward explained.
"Her friend?" Bethany asked. She hadn't spent the night with him since they were little - sleepovers and such, with the rest of their friends.
"I think you mean boyfriend," he said.
"Boyfriend? Since when have they been dating?"
"Bethany, Karyn's been dating Jon for almost two years now. Are you alright?"
She needed to sit down. How could she not remember something like that?
