Jon awoke bright and early the next morning. He'd been almost too excited to sleep altogether. A wishing stone! Unlimited wishes of his very own, and reality-altering wishes at that!
The night before, he had tested the rock by changing the décor of his room for five minutes. It had returned to normal once time was up, just as he'd hoped.
Then he'd tried another wish, turning his pyjamas pink until he said a word beginning with the letter 's'. Success!
Irreversible wishes? Hah! Last night he'd found there were several ways around that. His mind was abuzz with the possibilities. If he wished carefully, if he was smart about it, he could play around for a while and cancel the wishes later - and he would never, ever get caught!
