Zoe walked towards the spot where she usually met up with her friends before school. And as she approached Athena, she took out the stone, already having a few wishes in mind.
"Hey, Zoe," Athena said. She was sitting on a bench that was long enough for at least three people to sit on. Zoe sat down next to her. Athena was dressed in her usual getup: a black tattered dress, blood-red corset, black heeled boots, and fishnet gloves. Her long midnight black hair with red streaks was in its normal down state. "Did you bring it?" she asked Zoe.
Zoe held up the stone and Athena smiled.
"I've been thinking of wishes all night," Athena said.
"Me too," Zoe said.
Both Goth girls looked over at the school. From where they were sitting, they could easily see the entire school campus and everyone who was milling about within it. Some of the people walked close enough to them that they could hear them talking. Mostly it was people talking about them, either disgusted by them or just laughing at them.
Zoe turned towards her friend. "So? What should we wish for first?"
