Jane decided to leave the package at home. Sure, she and her dad were about as close as a daughter and father could be, under the circumstances of his work. Being an archeologist, her father was away from home quite a bit, although occasionally he'd let Jane and her mother join him on one of his expeditions. It was a unique way of seeing the world and some of Jane's best memories growing up were from those trips.
But she could wait. It would only be a few hours.
She put the package down on the kitchen table, then left the house, the bagel back in her mouth. She headed to her car and then drove to work.
Meanwhile, Athena DeVries was still trying to figure out what happened to her friend Zoe and the stone. And Karyn Black was still trying to figure out what happened to Jon and the stone. They both knew that the wishing stone was an inheritance from their friends' grandfather. So maybe the stone remained in the family. In that case, the best place to start looking for the stone was at the Gibson house.
