Jane decided to take the package with her to work. She wanted to see what was inside as soon as possible. She and her dad were about as close as a daughter and father could be, under the circumstances of his work. Being an archeologist, her father was away from home quite a bit, although occasionally he'd let Jane and her mother join him on one of his expeditions. It was a unique way of seeing the world and some of Jane's best memories growing up were from those trips.
So, seeing what her father left her was very important to her and she just couldn't wait until later to uncover his last gift to her.
Jane left the house, bagel in mouth and package in hand, and headed to her car parked in the driveway. And then she drove to work.
Meanwhile, Athena DeVries was still trying to figure out what happened to her friend Zoe and the stone. And Karyn Black was still trying to figure out what happened to Jon and the stone. They both knew that the wishing stone was an inheritance from their friends' grandfather. So maybe the stone remained in the family. In that case, the best place to start looking for the stone was at the Gibson house.
