Meanwhile, back at Jon's (now Jen's) house, the stone sat on the floor of the upstairs hallway. After the last wish made, the stone did not transport to the mansion along with Jen.
Karyn walked home, feeling a bit funny. She had forgotten the wishing stone, because of what her friend had wished, but she still remembered the changes to reality because of the stone.
Back before the original wishing stone was replaced by The Bimbo Stone, Jon had made a precautionary wish to make sure that he himself and also Karyn would notice any changes caused by a wish, whether they heard the wish or not.
And now that wish was still in effect. It's just that Karyn had no idea how things could be different, since she had forgotten about the wishing stone.
"Now, give me the wishing stone," Jen's new master demanded.
"I ... uh ... don't have it," she answered.
"What?!" her master roared.
Jen fell to the floor and bowed before him. "Please don't punish me, Master. I know where it is and I can, like, get it back."
Her master settled down. "Very well."
Jen stood up, nodded, then left the mansion.
