Mikey tried his hardest to push Karyn off of him, but she was too big. "Get off me! Jon, help me!" he yelled.
His little brother's cries for help were enough to break Jon out of his shock and make him pull Karyn off of the bed.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Karyn yelled at him.
Mikey began to cry, which confused Karyn.
"See what you did?" Jon said. "He'll probably have nightmares the rest of his life."
"What are you talking about? Mikey loves me."
"No he doesn't," Jon said. "I'm the one that loves you. You're supposed to love me."
"You?" Her face twisted into a look of disgust. "I only like young boys."
Jon stared at her. What had happened to her? Karyn wasn't like this before. "Listen to me. Something happened to you when I used the stone. You're not supposed to be like ..."
"The stone?" she asked, as a smile crept onto her face. With the stone, she could make Mikey love her. She looked down at Jon's hand and saw that he was holding it. Then, in one quick move, she swiped the stone from him and made a wish, not realizing that it was actually The Substitution Stone and her wish wouldn't be granted the way she wanted it to be.
"Wait, there's something wrong with ..." Jon began to say, realizing what Karyn was planning to do.
But Karyn wasn't paying any attention to him. "I wish ..."
