"I wish ..." Jon said, with a smile. "... that Karyn was in my bedroom and she desperately wanted to make love to me and she wanted to spend the rest of her life with me." Jon had been friends with Karyn since they were in grade school, but more recently, he had developed feelings for her that she obviously didn't have for him. But now, all of that would change.
The stone glowed ... but nothing seemed to happen. Unknown to Jon, as of yet, his wish was granted, but not in the way that he wanted. Since this was the Intermittent Stone, his first and third desires were ignored, but his second wasn't.
So ... meanwhile, at her house, Karyn suddenly became overly horny. She desperately wanted to make love to Jon. She didn't know where these feelings were coming from, but she didn't care. She was too horny to think about it.
She quickly finished up getting ready for school, then headed over to Jon's house.
And while Karyn was doing that, Jon sat on his bed, trying to figure out what was wrong with the stone.
