"I want to make the first wish," Linda said. "I've been thinking about it all night and since you made the last one ..."

"I understand," Jennifer said. "Go ahead."

Linda smiled and said "I wish I had a mom." Her mom had died nearly ten years ago (shortly after her little brother Mikey was born) and she never really knew her. Yes, she was six years old at the time, but it wasn't enough. Spending time with someone as a child and spending time with someone as a teenager were two different things. But now, with the help of the stone, she could finally get her wish.

The stone glowed, granting her wish. But unknown to her, as of yet, she had swapped ages with a teacher who had walked by at that exact moment.

And after her wish was granted (essentially giving her a mother and giving her father a wife), she swapped ages with the teacher, becoming just a few years younger than her father Jon. But since there was no reason for her to be at the school, and since she was still part of Jon's family, the stone created a new reality where she was Jon's wife, replacing the woman she had wished up just moments earlier. And the stone suddenly appeared in the bag belonging to Zoe, since she was now the oldest of child of the family.

A woman who hadn't been in their house seconds ago walked up to Jon and hugged him. It was Linda, his wife. The stone had changed reality so that Linda was now Jon's wife, but Jon was still the son of the parents of the original Linda. And Linda was now the daughter of the parents (who were still alive) of Jon's original father. So, their last name remained Jennings, and didn't return to the name Gibson.

"Have a great day at work, honey," Linda said, smiling.

Unknown to Jon, someone was looking at him through the living room window. In fact, he had been keeping an eye on Jon's family ever since the mysterious stranger replaced Jon's wishing stone with The Age Swap Stone.

He was well aware of how The Age Swap Stone worked, and knew that if he didn't do something, Jon wouldn't be able to provide for his family. Since he swapped ages with his mother, he was now the only one making money. But without the knowledge that came with this new life, his family would most likely end up out on the street. No, he had to help Jon as much as he could. After the change happened, he caused Jon to only remember his new life. It was a temporary measure, but at the moment, necessary. Then, much to his surprise, Jon's mother Linda was back, although seeming a little younger. Reality had been changed again. But this Linda knew nothing of the reality before Jon used The Age Swap Stone. She only remembered being a teenager. So, he did the same thing to her that he did to Jon. He made her think she was Jon's wife.

He turned away from the window and hid behind a row of bushes, watching Jon leave the house and get into his car. He was glad that he was able to help Jon out, but he had to be careful. The mysterious stranger (who's name he knew was Sylvester) could be watching, and he was very powerful and very dangerous. If Sylvester ever found out that he was helping Jon ... well, it wouldn't be good.

Shrugging off his fears about getting caught, he sprinted away from the Jennings house.
