Zoe sat on her bed. She needed help. There weren't many people she could trust. Really just Karyn and Athena knew about the stone. Zoe didn't want to tell anyone else about it or the magic it contained.

She had to get outside help. The choice was obvious. She picked up the stone. "I wish I could contact Jon with the DTH on my phone." The stone glowed briefly. Zoe checked her phone. Under contacts was a new entry for 'DTH Jon'. She pressed the call button and waited.

The ringing tone sounded strangely distorted. It became less distorted as it continued. Eventually it sounded like the regular tone just as the call was answered. Before she could speak the person on the other end started talking. "Hi sis! I didn't think you had the number for my spare phone." It said. She recognised it as her brother Jon from another timeline, who she had met briefly weeks ago. In fact she'd met several versions of him.

"I don't and I'm not your sister." Zoe told him.

"Yes you are, I recognise your voice."

"You recognise my voice but I'm not your sister."

"Zoe," he paused, "are you high?"

"No I'm not high. I don't do drugs." Zoe considered herself a person of good moral character. Most of the time anyway.

"Right." Jon said sarcastically. She had enough of his insinuations.

"Look, I don't know what that weird Goth chick does and really I don't care but I can understand her taking drugs if she has a brother like you."

"Zoe, if you are going to insult me, then I'm going to hang up." She couldn't believe they actually were related. Well not related exactly but they had came from the same parents. Kind of.

He didn't hang up but he stopped talking at that point. She then heard some noises followed by Karyn's voice. "Jon, it isn't your sister." Karyn said. Zoe was glad to see her friend had worked it out.

"Don't you start...," she heard Jon in the distance say, "...oh, it's Zoe from the dimension where I don't exist. I should have been able to work that out." It seemed they were carrying on with their own conversation.

"Maybe some of those drugs that messed you up are still in your system. I knew as soon as she called your sister a Goth chick. She called her that before." It sounded like Jon was the one who had been taking drugs. Zoe grew tired of being ignored.

"Helloo?, " Zoe told them, "I'm still here." Karyn spoke directly into the phone.

"Hi Zoe, what is it?"

"I need to talk to you guys, something has happened." She didn't want to go into details right now.

"Well, we're kind of busy at the moment," Karyn told her apologetically, "but I'm sure we'll get there as soon as we can."

Jon interrupted "It's all relative anyway," he explained, "we can only arrive the moment we left because we don't have a divergence point after that."

Zoe thought about Jon's previous visit. "That was weeks ago," she paused as she thought about what Jon had said, "I'll make one for you, this is important. Please come quick." She hung up. She realised she'd may have ended the call a bit too suddenly but she knew it would give them an incentive to get here.

She picked up the stone and was about to wish up a divergence point. She stopped herself. It was a school night and it was late already. As much as she needed their help she didn't want them here any longer the necessary. "I wish a divergence point was created in the timeline, in thirty six hours." Again the stone glowed briefly.

She knew Jon and Karyn would now arrive on Saturday morning. That would give her time to explain what was going on and they could all go to the party that night. The next problem was how to get Jon into a female only slumber party. Once again she picked up the stone.
