"Why were you talking to those two dorks?" Stephanie asked.
"Dorks? Hey, those two guys are my friends," Karyn said, clearly offended.
"Since when? I thought you only liked other Goths," Sabrina said. "Hey, what's that?" she asked, looking at the stone in Karyn's hand.
Karyn lifted it up and looked at it. She didn't know how it was possible, but this little rock had caused her to travel from the house of that bitch Jen Gibson to the school. And then it turned her into a Goth. Karyn was never a believer in magic, but after what happened to Sarah and Jen and now to her, she was now.
"I think it's magic," she said.
"Let me see," Sabrina said, grabbing it out of Karyn's hand.
"Be careful. It's kind of unpredictable."
"How does it work?" Stephanie asked.
"I'm not sure," Karyn said. She thought back and tried to think if she did anything before things began changing. But she couldn't remember. "Listen, I don't know who you think I am, but ..."
"I wish I knew how to use this," Sabrina said. Suddenly, the stone glowed, causing her and her friends to look away. When she looked back, the stone was no longer glowing, but she suddenly knew how to use it. All she had to do was say "I wish," and then wish for something. "It's a fucking wishing stone," she declared, smiling.
But then she began to feel odd. She looked down at herself and panicked when she witnessed herself changing. "What the fuck is happening to me?!"
