In her haste to find a mirror, Sarah had accidentally dropped the stone. And as she turned around to ask Jen what had happened to her, she noticed Karyn picking it up off the floor.
"This thing can magically make things happen?" Karyn asked. "I wish I could show this to Tim and Pete."
"No!" Sarah yelled, as the stone glowed.
And in an instant, Karyn was gone. And so was the stone.
"How am I going to get back to normal now?" Sarah asked.
How am I going to get back to normal? Jen thought to herself. She had no intention of staying female.
"I wish I could show this to Tim and Pete," Karyn said, then had an urge to look away from the stone, as it warmed in her hand.
The room around her faded away as she was transported somewhere else. After a moment of dizziness, she found herself on the school grounds, standing near Tim Brant and Pete Roberts, her two best friends. They were both walking towards the school, but stopped when they saw her.
"Guys, I don't know how it's possible, but ..." Karyn began, but then stopped as she felt herself changing. What was happening?
