Meanwhile Sarah had finally regained consciousness. She found herself lying on the couch of a house she did not know and began thinking about what happened before she blacked out. Did she drink to much and slept with some guy? No, no. She went with Mikey home. No not home, to Jon Gibson’s house. Or was it home? She vaguely remembered her home was not this house but the harder she tried to think about it, the more it slipped away from her.
She looked around. She remembered furnishing this room. Or did she? It was all so confusing.
It was then that she noticed Tiffany and Karyn sitting beside her. Both had a worried expression on their face.
Sarah blinked at Tiffany. She had short hair, just like this loser Jon. She also wore his clothes! Her eye colour was wrong, and did she just imagine this or looked Tiffany’s breasts a cup smaller?
“Everything okay mom?”, asked Tiffany, keeping her worried expression.
Sarah blinked rapidly at Tiffany. Did she hear that right? Mom? Did she look like anyone’s mom? It took a moment for Sarah to notice that it seemed that Tiffany seemed to have the same thing happen to her as to Sarah. Tiffany was swapping with Jon and Sarah guessed that she probably swapped with Jon’s mom.
Sarah opened her mouth and wanted to demand to know what was going on, why the two are swapping traits with someone else but she stopped. Tiffany seemed not to notice anything wrong with her. “Maybe she doesn’t notice… Maybe she just plays along because she doesn’t want Karyn to know”, thought Sarah. “Just like the others at school, nobody noticed. I think it would be best to talk with Tiffany alone for now.”
Sarah shook her head and tried to put on a smile. “Er- yeah, everything is alright. I just got a bit dizzy”, she lied.
“Okay. You better lie down for a bit, mom”, nodded Tiffany. “Don’t worry, me and Karyn will look after Mikey.”
The two left the room and Sarah was alone again. “Why is this happening to me?”
