Okay, been trying to get all caught up so far, liking it a lot, found the Minus-four situation pretty damn engaging.
Then I got to the "Far-Planes" arc and I'm just kinda having some mixed feelings.
Of course I have absolutely no right to complain, seeing as I haven't contributed in months. Its just that this thing is kind of awkward and confusing and... feels a little shark-jumpy.
I'm like, "wait the Moon goddess lady is showing up all of a sudden and Why is Shi all up in this business wait Cass and Lucas are getting god-powers whaaaaaat"
Again, I have no right to complain, but something feels off and its bugging the crap out of me. Maybe I'm just having this feeling like it doesn't feel conducive to the character arcs of Lucas and Cass I had been picking up on.
Lucas seemed to be someone who, no only having a distaste of controlling authority, someone who really didn't give a hang about "god" business in general. And now she's getting super smitten with a goddess (which seems kind of a major switch from not wanting to be a servant)but even becoming one? I dunno it just feels forced.
These are just my own hang ups I'm trying to (most likely inadequately) express, and I'm sure you guys can alleviate most of them. I just feel a little put off by this arc so far.
