Karyn checked her watch and started to become worried. Usually, Jon would have shown up by now.
She paced back and forth just outside the school, then took out her cellphone and called Jon, but there was no answer. So then she called his house. His mother answered.
"Oh, hi, Mrs. Gibson. Um, do you know where Jon is?" she asked.

"I assume so. I didn't actually see him leave. He was gone ... right before I saw that woman." Then in a sort of mutter, she said "I still don't know how she got into Jon's room."
"Excuse me? Did you say woman?" Karyn asked.
"Yes. I found a woman in Jon's room. I was about to call the police, but something stopped me. The way she was dressed, maybe I should have, but there seemed to be something quite innocent about her. Anyway, she seemed to be having enough trouble walking in those heels, so ..."
"Heels?" This got Karyn's attention. "What did they look like?"
"Five-inch stilettos. I can't believe that women actually wear those things."
"Uh, I've gotta go, Mrs. Gibson. I'll call you if I spot Jon. Bye." And Karyn hung up.
That woman must have been Jon, because the heels that were described to her sounded a whole heck of a lot like the wishing heels that Jon showed her the previous day - the ones that caused her to gain the blond hair and large breasts that she had now. Jon must have turned himself into a woman.
But where was he?
