Jane was about to take another bite of her food when suddenly the room around her seemed to become unfocused and she felt dizzy. Her first thought was food poisoning, but once her dizzy spell was over, that thought disappeared immediately.
She slowly stood up from the table and looked around. Her kitchen looked different. In fact, her whole house looked different. Instead of being covered with flower print wallpaper, all the walls were painted black. Candles were scattered throughout all the rooms. And the decor was clearly gothic. It all immediately reminded her of Zoe's bedroom.
What had happened?
Little did Jane know, her wish was actually granted. But instead of making Zoe normal, it made everything that was normal like Zoe.
She walked around her "new" house in near shock, but stopped when she saw herself in the foyer mirror. She was dressed almost exactly like her daughter: black corset, worn black miniskirt, fishnets, black knee-high boots. She even had a spiked collar and tattoos. And piercings ... in her nose. Although, oddly, her lipstick remained the same shade of red it was a few minutes earlier.
She stared at herself. How was any of this possible?
