Jon transformed. Meanwhile, Karyn was watching, and she said "Easy come, easy go. Jon, you really have to not do that."
Jon looked her body over, feeling the breasts and running his... her hand down the opposite arm and her hips and legs. "I'm a girl," she said in a new higher voice. "This time it's just a regular girl." She felt her face. "Not bits and pieces. I don't look weird... but it's not me."
"Mommy!" said the child gleefully.
"Yeah, I'm your Mommy," said Jon. "Even though I didn't plan it that way. Like Karyn said, I should know better. Maybe just prevent myself from making wishes by accident. But it looks like I'm going to be your Mommy for a while."
"Mommy you are!"
"No, Jon," said Karyn. "Come over here."
Jon nodded. She said "Petra, go on. Your 'mommy' needs to talk to her friend. Go on and play with your toys."
Jon walked over to Karyn while the little girl watched her.
"Jon," said Karyn. "Even I can think of loopholes in that wish. I'm sure one of them will let you change ba...." She didn't finish the sentence and instead watched Jon.
"What is it? I... wait, my voice is back! I'm a guy again! Look, everyone, I'm a guy! Petra, I'm Daddy again."
But as soon as he attracted the toddler's attention, he felt himself transform again, in a brief instant, and was once again a girl.
"Mommy!" she said.
"Huh?" said Jon.
"I think I have an idea," said Karyn. "Come on over here." She motioned for Jon to follow her.
Jon came along but said "Where are we going?"
"Oh, anywhere," replied Karyn. She led Jon to the corridor and as soon as they were out of sight of Petra, Jon transformed back into a boy. "A-HA! Jon, you wished that Petra could call you 'Mommy'. Well, it looks like every time Petra is looking at you or paying any attention to you you'll change into a girl. When she doesn't notice you, you're a guy again."
"I have to admit that does fit what just happened. But I can't just not have her notice me."
"Yes, but this way you're a guy some of the time. You'll be a guy at school at least unless you're bringing a three year old to class. It might even be convenient in some ways."
