The stone he put in its place looked exactly like Jon's stone, except that it wasn't. It was the Sequential Stone. It worked just like the normal stone, except that people had to take turns using it, in groups of three.
For example, if the first wish was made by Jon, then Jon couldn't make another wish until at least two other people made ones after him. Whoever made the second wish couldn't make another wish until at least one other person made one. It would always be in threes. Like this: Jon, Karyn, Mikey (for the first three); Karyn, Jon, Zoe (for the second three) ... and so on. Once the third person makes a wish with the stone, anyone can make the next one.
