"Wait, Karyn. Don't you notice anything different about yourself?"
"Like what?" Then realization appeared in her eyes, which turned to anger. "You didn't make a fucking wish to change me, did you?"
"No, no. All I did was wish you to my bedroom. But look at what happened!"
She looked down at herself, then looked back up at Jon. "What?"
"Oh, Karyn. I wish you could see yourself. You look ..." Suddenly, Jon felt the stone grow warm in his hand. "No, wait. That wasn't ..."
Then Jon's wish was granted. But in what way would it be granted, since every wish was twisted in some sort of gothic way?
