Jon met up with Karyn at their usual meeting spot, the wall where he first showed her the wishing stone.
"Did you bring it?" she asked.
"Of course," Jon answered, pulling the stone out of his pocket. "Did you figure out a way to fix yourself?"
"Yeah, actually. It took me all night, but I did figure out something that I think could work."
"Have at it, then," Jon said, tossing the stone. "But make it quick. School starts in a little over five minutes."
