Jon awoke with a start. He'd had a restless night, thanks to the excitement of the stone, and as a result had overslept. He was late for school.
"Oh crap!" Jon cursed as he scrambled out of bed. There was no chance he'd be able to get dressed and make it to school on time now, unless...
"I wish I was washed and dressed and ready for school," Jon said, with the rock in hand. His usual clothes formed around him in an instant. His rucksack was suddenly hanging from his shoulder. He found his hair was clean and he even had deodorant already applied.
"Excellent," Jon smiled. "Now I wish I was at the school gates now."
Jon vanished from his room, along with the stone. Not that he knew it now, but these innocuous wishes would come back to haunt him later that day, as he was holding the Stone of Servitude, which had bound him to a contract without his knowledge.
