When Jon woke up the next morning, he immediately grabbed the stone. Why bother going through all the trouble of getting ready for school when he could just wish for it?
He sat up in bed and said "I wish I was all dressed and ready to go." The stone glowed, but something was wrong.
His clothes appeared on him, but they were all disheveled-looking. Everything else about him was fine, though, so he just straightened out his clothes and went on his way, not realizing that the stone had changed his wish to: "I wish I was ill dressed and ready to go." Fortunately, this time it wasn't too different from what he said, but next time ...
Jon grabbed his school bag and headed out.
