"B-- but we..." said Jon.
Karyn nodded.
"I'm sorry about it! It was a whole wish thing. I didn't mean to do that. I mean, we... well..."
Karyn sighed. "I wasn't expecting it but it really isn't any of our faults. Let's forget about it, okay? It's hard to just ignore but it's not like we did it the normal way, it was just a wish, and poof."
Jon was very skeptical, but he hoped he and Karyn could handle it. He didn't want to lose her as a friend. "What if, I don't know, I made you pregnant or something?"
"It can take up to a day or even longer for conception, you know," she said. "Conception isn't instant."
"But it's not as if you can prevent it in that time without a pill or something."
"Fine. I wish I knew if that made me pregnant."
Suddenly Karyn felt bloated. She lost her balance, because she was weighted down and balanced in a more forward direction. Her belly was pregnant, of course, and she looked like she was ready to give birth any time. She certainly knew now whether she had been made pregnant! It was just getting worse and worse...
"We have to get rid of it!" exclaimed Jon.
"I, uhh, can I?" replied Karyn. "It's like killing it."
"If that's what you think you can wait ten years and wish it back after that. In the meantime..."
"Yeah," replied Karyn. "You're right. Let's do something about this pregnancy. I wish..."
