"You know, Jon," said one of the girls (her name was Jessica Davis). "I don't usually say this to other girls, but ..."
Other girls? They really do think that I'm a girl, don't they? Jon thought.
"... I think you definitely need to get breast implants."
"What?"
"Yeah, definitely," said another girl (this one's name was Melissa Smith). "No offense, but you're the ugliest girl in school. You almost look like a guy."
"Your make-up helps a little, but ..."
"Make-up?" Was Jon wearing make-up? He never bothered to check. All that time in the bathroom and now in the locker room, and he couldn't just glance at a mirror?
"Yeah, your make-up. But it doesn't help enough. I think you'll definitely need to get surgery done. And maybe you should think about changing your name too."
No way was Jon going to get surgery. This was ridiculous. He wasn't really a girl. He was supposed to be a guy!
"Hey, what's this?" Jessica asked, picking up the stone from the floor.
Jon stared down at it, as Jessica picked it up. He must have accidentally dropped it on the floor when he was getting dressed. "Don't touch that! It's mine!" he yelled.
