"What are you doing here!!" the woman screamed at Karyn.

"What?" Karyn breathed.

"Get out of here!"

Karyn was in a shower ... with a naked woman. The showerhead was spraying water all over her, making her clothes wet.

Seeing that Karyn wasn't complying, the woman pushed Karyn out of the shower, which sent her flailing across the floor. She tried to scramble to her feet, but the woman made it difficult, as she was hitting Karyn with her towel.

"You little pervert! How dare you break into my home and into my shower!"

"It ... it was an accident," Karyn pleaded. Obviously, it was. Karyn had no desire to get into a shower with a woman, especially one she didn't know. But this woman certainly wouldn't buy it. How does someone accidentally break into someone's house and then accidentally get into a shower with someone already in it?

She crawled out through the bathroom door, as the woman continued to hit her with her towel. Once she got to a carpeted floor, she turned on her back and grabbed the towel from the woman.

"Stop hitting me!" Karyn said, standing up.

The woman glared at her, with psychotic eyes. Karyn figured that maybe she made a mistake in yelling back at the woman. Karyn was, in fact, the intruder here, intentional or not. So, she did the only thing she could think of. She dropped the towel and ran, down the stairs, out the door, and into the street, hoping that the woman wouldn't call the cops on her.

She looked around the neighborhood. She didn't recognize it, but maybe if she found a street sign ...

After about a minute of walking, she found one: Sundance Drive.

Sundance Drive? Karyn thought. That's almost on the other side of town. It would take her at least a half hour to walk back to Jon's house.

How did she even get there anyway?

"Can I help you?" the man asked.

Jon blinked. "Where am I?" He looked around. He appeared to be in a grocery store.

"The deli?" the man behind the counter said.

"No. I mean, what store?"

"Friendly's Foods," the deli guy said, slowly, as if he thought there was something wrong with Jon.

Friendly's Foods? Jon thought. That was a local grocery store about a mile from his house, towards downtown. But how did he get there?

Because of his wish, he knew where Karyn went, at least. To a house almost on the other side of town. But he still didn't know why she went there. Was the stone broken?

"The stone," Jon said, with eyes wide.

"I don't think I've ever heard of that meat," the deli guy said.

Jon ignored him and looked around on the floor. Where was the stone?

The deli guy leaned over the counter. "If you're not ordering anything, could you move on please?"

The stone wasn't there. And Jon had a sinking feeling that it might still be back in his bedroom, resting in the center of his room, for all to see.
