When Jon woke up the next morning, he was really excited. But not for school. Sure, he liked school, maybe a lot more than some, and maybe a little less than others. But what he was really excited for was the chance to use the stone again. He had barely used it the previous day. But now, he was gonna go full throttle on it.
He sat up and swung out of bed, grabbing the stone as he did. The first wish he wanted to make was a precautionary wish. Better to be safe than sorry, he figured. "I wish that if I ever lose the wishing stone, it would be returned to me." Unfortunately, what Jon didn't know was that he had already lost the stone and the stone that he held in his hand was actually The Mimicry Stone.
Jon stood up from his bed, stretched, then went to his closet. After opening the doors, he felt a sense of distaste. He loved wearing black, but none of his clothes were that color. He couldn't figure out why they weren't. Then he shook his head, thinking that his mom must have been washing his black clothes that day. He pushed aside the clothes, trying to find something that was at least dark and found a dark gray T-shirt.
"Good enough, I guess."
Without even knowing it, he had mimicked his Goth sister Zoe's love for wearing black clothes, because Zoe was the closest person to him when he made his wish.
