"Do you still remember the wishing stone?" Jon asked.
"Of course I do. You just showed it to me yesterday."
Jon was relieved. He didn't have to explain it to her again.
"Why did you ask if I remembered it?" Karyn asked, getting worried. "You didn't change something did you?"
"Well ... actually ... a lot of things have changed."
"What do you mean?"
Jon explained everything that had happened since he woke up that morning. Most of it she said she didn't believe. But she knew how the stone worked, so maybe it wasn't impossible. It's just that she couldn't wrap her brain around the fact that she was still supposed to be in high school. She graduated almost two years ago. She had memories of all those years.
"So, what do you think?" Jon asked. "Should we not use the stone anymore or what? I mean, if it's not working right."
