The next morning, Jon woke up to his alarm clock. After shutting it off (usually, he hit snooze a couple times, but today was different), he grabbed the stone. He was so excited. The previous night, he thought up dozens of wishes he couldn't wait to try out.
Unfortunately, Jon didn't know that his stone was replaced by The Spike Stone. It worked just like the regular stone except for two things. It could reverse wishes and it required a blood payment.
"I wish I was dressed and all ready for school," he said. After the stone glowed, he saw the clothes appear on his body, but at the same time, he felt his hand get poked by something.
"Ow," he said, opening his hand and seeing the spiky stone. His hand was actually bleeding. But instead of dripping off his hand, all the blood got absorbed into the stone. "What the hell?" And when the spikes retracted back into the stone, Jon saw that the wound had completely healed.
