When Jon woke up the next morning, he immediately grabbed for the stone. He had a boatload of wishes he wanted to make and he wanted to make them as soon as possible.
But when he touched the stone, an odd feeling came over him. Thinking that it was just him being tired, he shook it off and made his first wish.
Unknown to Jon, the stone he now held was Bogart's Stone (the name is derived from an old English tale) and it would cause Jon to always make greedy wishes, just like the one he was about to make.
