The next morning, Jon woke up to the sound of his radio alarm. There was no music at the moment because the station was on a commercial break, so when Jon woke up, the first thing he heard was two women talking about some new deal they got at Sears.
Shaking his head, Jon got out of bed and reached for the stone. Didn't women have anything else to do than talk about fashion? Of course, it was just a commercial, not an actual conversation between two women, but still ...
After grabbing the stone (which wasn't his stone, but rather The Parrot Stone), he felt a little strange, but shrugged it off thinking he was just a little tired.
On the radio, one of the women in the commercial said "I wish I had the hottest new line of dresses and skirts." Then the other woman said "You can. Sears is having a sale on ..."
Jon shut the radio off. He had enough of that.
"I wish I had the hottest new line of dresses and skirts." The stone glowed. "Wait a minute! Why did I wish for that?"
