Jon ran through the hallways to his history class. He had to hustle because it happened to be on the far side of school. The bell rang as he stepped in the classroom of Mr. Higgins, his history teacher.

"Always cutting it close. Right Jon?" Mr. Higgins mused.

"But I somehow always manage to make it." Jon said. Mr. Higgins did have a point. He was barely passing his classes. It wasn't that his class was hard, it was just boring. Well maybe the class wasn't boring, Mr. Higgins was. He always spoke in monotone making his lectures the perfect time to catch up on sleep.

Jon walked back to his usual seat near the back on the room and next to the wall. Right behind him was his friend Steve, who was always a bright spot in this morning and boring history class. He settled into his seat and layed his backpack on the floor. In doing so, the stone fell out of his pocket and hit the ground about the same time the backpack did.

Steve looked down at the rock that dropped out of his friend pocket. Being polite, he picked up the rock so he could give it back to Jon. However, he was perplexed why Jon had a rock in the first place. It seemed like a strange thing to have. Steve looked up at Jon and said,

Just then, the stone gave a out a dim blue glow.

"I wish I had a large penis."

"Hey Jon you dropped this," Steve said, "Burr, the air conditioning must be set to low. I have shivers down my spine."

Jon looked at his friend and then the stone, "Oh no! Good thing Steve picked it up. I would of never known."

"Thanks Steve, I would of gone nuts if I lost it."

"Speaking of, why do you have a rock in the first place?"

Jon had to think of a fib. Steve was a good friend, but not a person he could trust with a power this great. After all, his best friend had inadvertantly made a wish. He just didn't want anything else to happen.

"It's an heirloom. My grandfather gave it to me in his will. Supposely it's good luck." Jon took the stone and put it in his pocket.

"Oh that's cool. It seemed strange. I couldn't think of any reason why you would have a rock."

Jon turned back around to listen to the start of the lecture. He really needed to listen to Mr. Higgens. He didn't want to be a loser and goto summer school, something he hope he would never experience. Jon jotted down the notes on the board, but his head bobbed up and down as he tried to stay awake.

Throughout class, Steve couldn't help but stratch and pull at his shorts. "Mom put way too much starch on my shorts."
