The stone he put in its place looked almost exactly like Jon's Stone but when it was touched it would revert to it's original form, a smiler shaped yellow stone. It was another piece of the same stone it was the Wishing Stone of range.
Unlike the piece Jon was given this one was more limited in the power of wishes but had a near unlimited range.
There was also a note left with it to explain what the stranger wanted to tell Jon
