"Wake up, Jenny!" yelled Karyn.
"Wha--? What? How long was I out?"
"Just a few seconds. You look like you saw a ghost."
"Karyn, do you remember the magic stone?"
"Magic stone? Isn't that something pretty unusual for me to have forgotten?"
"Yeah, but... Oh, never mind. Help me get it, okay? I saw it there under the vending machine."
"Sure, but I don't see what's wrong." Karyn ran to her locker and came back with a foldable umbrella, which she stretched out but didn't open up. It made a nice pole to extend Jenny's reach a little bit farther.
In a minute, Jenny had retrieved the stone.
"Is that really it?" wondered Karyn. "It's just a smooth piece of rock. It's nothing special."
"It's the fake stone," said Jenny. "I don't think the real one is that smooth. But I'm going to have to demonstrate. I wish I was at home with Karyn."
Of course, nothing happened. The stone couldn't reverse the wish that they be at school.
"Argh! Follow me..."
Jenny led Karyn to the street, just off the edge of the school property. Over there, they were already not at school, so wishing to be at home wouldn't reverse the other wish. She said again, "I wish I was at home with Karyn."
This time they disappeared and reappeared at home... At Karyn's home, in a girl's room.
"Wow!" exclaimed Karyn. "We're in your room, Jenny. That really is a magic stone..."
"This isn't my room! Karyn, please sit down, let me explain...."
"... so you mean you're not my sister? You're not even a girl? Were we, uh, dating or anything?"
"We were, well... I sort of wanted to but we never did... But we were friends."
"This is all hard to believe. All those years of living with you, slumber parties, jealousy over guys, us both learning to cook from Mom... it was all fake?"
"I hate to say it, but I'm afraid so."
This time it was Karyn who fainted.
"I wish that Karyn and I don't faint easily," said Jenny, as she woke up Karyn. There was a flash and it might have helped, but Jenny didn't care to test it.
"It started out," she explained, "when you accidentally wished for blonde hair and boobs like Sarah. Then you tried to fix it by wishing you were your old self in a bodysuit. But something was wrong and I turned into your old self in a body suit. Then the wish about thinking things are normal... I think I know what this stone did but I'm not sure how to fix it."
Jenny took off the suit and stood in front of the mirror that was behind her door. "This is so strange," she said. "You may remember all this but I don't. I'm you..."
She went over to her closet and tried to pick out some clothes, but in the end just decided to put on the clothes she had on top of the suit. They had the bigger breast size, and Jenny had to get a different bra, but otherwise they still fit.
"Whoever you really are, Jenny, you'll always be my sister..."
"I don't want to be... no offense, I mean, but I have my own family, and my own body, or I did. We've got to get back to school, anyway. Come along."
Jenny led Karyn outside the house and wished them back to school.
