When Jon woke up the next morning, he excitedly grabbed the stone, but immediately dropped it when he felt the slimy surface of it.
"Yuck," he said, looking at it lying on his nightstand. He poked his finger at it and saw some of the red slime coming off onto his finger. "Oh man, this isn't good."
Without hesitation, he called Karyn and told her about the stone and about the weird reddish slime that coated it. Since anything about the stone was serious stuff, she said she'd be right over.
When she finally got to Jon's house, he showed her the stone.
"Have you tried using it yet?" she asked.
"Are you kidding me? I'm not touching that thing again. It's disgusting. It's like someone blew their nose with it."
Karyn sighed. "Fine. I'll try it." She poked her finger at the stone, feeling the slimy goo, and said "I wish I knew why the stone has all this slime on it."
There was no flash of light from the stone, since the wish wasn't granted. But there was a loud splashing noise, as Karyn was suddenly drenched in the same slime that coated the stone.
"What the hell?!" she yelled out, in surprise ... and disgust.
