Jaya looked down at the still-sleeping Goddess Karyn. She never wanted to betray her longtime friend, but she just couldn't allow the Goddess of Normality to awaken and take away all of her precious children. She was a problem that needed to be dealt with.
Holding the stone in her hand, Jaya could still feel the power coursing through it. But was it enough?
"I wish ..." she began, hoping there was still enough power within the stone to grant her wish. "... that the Deity Stone was no longer part of Karyn and was destroyed."
The stone that was inside Karyn's body suddenly appeared out of thin air and then was vaporized into atoms.
Karyn stirred awake. Something was wrong. Her power! It was all gone! She looked at Jaya who was looking down at her. "You ... you ... why?"
But instead of answering her, Jaya simply said "Adore me, my child."
And Karyn began to change.
