Zoe watched Jaya and Karyn roll around on the ground. They had gotten themselves into a fist fight. Zoe thought they were so pathetic. They were goddesses. They didn't need to fight like that. They had the power to do anything they wanted. Zoe understood this. Jaya and Karyn did not.
Zoe waved her hand over the two fighting goddesses and a magical forcefield surrounded them. It took a moment for them to realize what had happened. There was nothing they could do. They were imprisoned, probably for the rest of their lives. Which would be forever, since they were immortal.
They watched helplessly as all of Jaya's "children" became fully human again, then become Goths again, and then became Zoeists.
The ones that had beaten up on Zoe after Karyn made them normal ran over to their goddess and begged for her mercy. They were incredibly sorry for hurting her. Goddess Zoe gave them mercy, despite the fact that she was evil, and told them that it wasn't their fault. "Karyn was the one that contaminated you," Zoe said, pointing at Goddess Karyn, trapped inside a glowing orange forcefield.
All of the pale-skinned, black-haired, gothic Zoeists stared at Karyn and Jaya. Some of the stares were dead cold, and some were burning with hatred.
"Let's make sure they never leave their imprisonment!" Goddess Zoe yelled out to her servants.
Suddenly, all of the Zoeists began to chant incantations. As they did, Karyn and Jaya felt weaker and weaker, and the forcefield around them became a more vibrant and fiery orange color, indicating that it was now stronger.
The Zoeists were satisfied by their efforts and by their goddess' command, they spread through the rest of the town, converting the few "norms" who were left. Now, since her followers were in the thousands, Zoe decided to give her power of conversion to some of her followers, like Sarah McMillan, Lisa Gooding, her former friend Athena, and Jon's mother Jane. They would have the power to convert "norms" into Zoeists.
All the Zoeists, besides Sarah, Lisa, Athena, and Jane, stayed in the town. Their purpose was to eventually turn the town into a Goth town. In the meantime, Sarah, Lisa, Athena, and Jane left town to convert people in other surrounding towns.
