Karyn was the first to see Zoe's army of half-human creatures.
Tiffany the half-spider walked into the hallway. It was like something out of a fantasy horror movie. Everything above the waist was Tiffany's own original body, blonde hair and large breasts and all, but everything below her waist was that of a giant black spider.
"Oh my god," Karyn breathed.
Behind Tiffany came Jennifer the half-cockroach. If Tiffany made Karyn disgusted, then Jennifer made Karyn want to get sick. In addition to her giant cockroach body (below the waist), she also had two long antennae sticking out of her forehead.
Behind Jennifer came Amber the half-lobster. This wasn't as revolting as the first two that she saw, but still ... who wanted the body (even half the body) of a lobster? Even Amber's hands had been changed, now lobster claws. She opened and closed them as she walked towards Karyn.
Behind Amber came Allison the half-bat. This was probably the most horrifying one of them all. Allison floated just below the ceiling and made screeching noises.
And behind Allison came Madison (Sarah McMillan's best friend), who was half-snake. She slithered along the floor towards Karyn.
Looking at this army of five grotesque creatures, Karyn didn't feel quite as confident as she did before.
"Don't worry, Karyn," Athena reassured. "We can take them."
Karyn wasn't so sure about that.
