For the next two hours, Karyn and Athena rounded up their "help", which consisted of many of Athena's friends. There was Zelda Whitefield, Stephanie Wright, Sabrina Johnson, and Trevor Blake. They were all Goths, but Karyn didn't mind. She had nothing against them. If they were friends of Athena, then they were okay as far as Karyn was concerned. And they also knew a little about magic, so that definitely made them more important to their cause.
Also during the two hours, Athena and Sabrina attempted to teach Karyn how to use magic herself. Unfortunately, she couldn't learn too much in such a short time. But at least she had the wishing stone.
Once they prepared themselves, they set off to the high school, where they knew Zoe and her followers would be. Unfortunately, they didn't realize that Zoe was already there and already changing people.
