"So, Zoe is a goddess?" Athena asked.
"Well, that's what they were calling her. She's got some sort of a hold over them. I don't know how she did it," Karyn said. She looked down at the wishing stone in her hand. "But maybe this had something to do with it."
"You think that she wished to be a goddess?"
"Maybe," Karyn answered. "You know, you seem to be alright with all this talk about goddesses and magic stones."
"That's because I believe in magic. You saw me use some when I woke up. Remember?"
"You mean the lights coming on?" Karyn asked.
"That's right. If your stone sent you to me, then perhaps you need me to use my magic to help you."
"That sounds like as good a reason as any," Karyn said. "So where do we start?"
