"I'll pray for you!" Athena yelled, as Zoe walked away.
Zoe cringed, hearing her yell that out. God, I can't believe I was actually friends with that weirdo, she thought, as she walked into the clothing store Pink. She spotted her new friends right away. Katie and Heather were busy looking at shoes, and Sabrina and Yuki were currently looking at some hot skirts. She approached the latter two.
"Like, there you are," Sabrina said. "I guess you found out quick that Hot Topic isn't for you anymore."
"Yeah, definitely," Zoe said. She paused, then said "You know who I ran into? Athena."
"Yeah, what did she want?"
"To convert me, I think. God, I guess nothing changes. She was a freak before and she's a freak now."
"You didn't think she was a freak before, though, did you? I mean, before we changed?"
"No. But I'm beginning to see that I was wrong. Black is definitely not a good color ... unless it's sexy black lingerie," Zoe added, with a smirk.
"Yeah, totally," Sabrina agreed.
Outside, Athena continued to talk to people, to inform them of the "truth". But what she was really doing was pestering them, at least in their opinion.
"Jesus saves!" she shouted at two middle-aged people, one woman and one man. They were dressed somewhat conservatively, but what came out of the man's mouth was anything but conservative.
"Get the fuck out of my way, you stupid bitch!" he yelled, pushing Athena on the floor and laughing about it. The woman joined in with the laughter as they walked away.
Athena grew angry, picking herself up off the ground and dusting her ankle-length skirt off. She clenched her hands, suddenly feeling dark, like she was before the change. But then the feeling swept past her. Just for a few seconds, though, she felt like a gothic witch again. But now, she was disgusted for feeling that way. She had to pray to God for forgiveness.
