When the five former Goths finally reached the occult shop ... it wasn't there. It had been replaced by a comic book store. The place used to be called The Occult Stop, but now it was called The Comic Stop.
Stephanie's eyes lit up at the sight of it and eagerly walked inside. She was never into comic books before, but now she suddenly had an urge to pick one up and read it. Trevor was also a little bit intrigued by the store. He always thought comics were stupid, but now he kind of felt different about it. Zelda wasn't really interested, but she went inside with Trevor anyway. It was strange, but she started to like him more and more. Back when they were Goths, they were friends, but nothing more. But now, she felt like she was developing feelings for him.
Zoe and Sabrina stayed outside. "Look at those losers," Sabrina said. "Running in there like that. You'd think there was a sale on shoes."
"Totally. I mean, how can they even like that stuff? It's, like, so stupid," Zoe said.
Both of them suddenly paused and then looked at each other.
"Did I just say what I thought I said?" Sabrina asked.
"It's happening to us. Just like I said it would. We're starting to act all ditzy and girlish. We have to concentrate." But with every minute that passed, it got harder and harder to do just that.
